Woburn, Eversholt and Milton Bryan Churches
Sunday 6th July 2008, 14:30 to 17:30
What pleasanter way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon than to
have the rare opportunity to sing in three architecturally fine churches - Woburn,
Eversholt (both in John Betjeman's guide) and Milton Bryan. We shall assemble at St Mary's,
Woburn (public car park opposite) at 2.30 and rehearse briefly, then move round to each
village in turn (sharing cars) singing parts of Evensong, including a new Malcolm Archer
anthem. Refreshments will be provided and there will be time for viewing the churches and,
for organists, an opportunity to play Woburn's fine instrument.
