Day course and evensong in St Albans Cathedral
Monday 26 October 2009 10.00 am for 5.00 pm service
Following the success of our RSCM Area
Chamber Choir, this choir is for treble line singers up to the age of 18. Choristers from
the RSCM St Albans Area (Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire) up to the age of 18 are invited to
attend a day's training in St Albans culminating in singing evensong in the Cathedral.
Young people need to be at least dark blue ribbon standard and it is hoped that many of our
award holders will attend. The day will be led by Marie Price (RSCM Area Education and
Training Officer).
The fee payable for this event is £10.00 per chorister and cheques should be made out to 'RSCM Diocese of St. Albans'. The closing date is Monday 7 September 2009.
The day will consist of a variety of vocal and musical activities including rehearsing the challenging music to be sung at evensong. Further details will be sent once registrations are in. Please use the online booking form. Places will be limited for this event.
N.B. For extra publicity purposes, a downloadable PDF version flyer of this event is also available should you wish to display a copy in your window or on a noticeboard!
